A Blogger’s Daily Routine
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” - Aristotle
I’ve put together a daily routine to improve my effectiveness as a blogger, and it got me wondering what other bloggers do for a daily routine. Once my blogging routine becomes habit, my aim is that this routine will take a few hours out of my workday morning, so that I can devote the rest of my day to business building as opposed to business maintenance. This isn’t a new idea, and it is one that I got from Patrick O’Keefe of the iFroggy Network. Here’s the current iteration of my routine.
- Post to Argentina’s Travel Blog
- Read RSS Feeds
- Post to Flee The Cube Blog
- Participate in select forums (there’s 5)
- Deal with deluge of email
What is your daily routine like?
Especially in terms of blogging, marketing, and business building. I’m curious what the highest-value activities are, and what habits really pay off in terms of building traffic. Now, I know that this is like asking a blogger for his real secrets (not his fun secrets) but the blogosphere is so cooperative that I thought I would give it a try.
So if you write a post on your daily routine (let me know about it) or if you have a minute, leave it in the comments
