Making Blogging Easy
I’m curious how many of you use blogging tools such as Ecto, Qumana, or BlogJet? What are your experiences? I’ve been using Ecto now for the better part of a year (since I switched to Mac) and I love it. But speaking truthfully, it doesn’t save buckets of time or anything. The time cosuming part (the writing) is time-consuming nonetheless.
But there are some great perks and time-savers to blogging with Ecto. It’s nice not to have to wait for page load times, for one thing. For another, the way linking works in Ecto is smarter than in Wordpress, when I copy a link, it’s automatically pasted into the dialog box in Ecto. Also, it includes a number of useful tools (which I don’t use yet) to integrate your blog with iPhoto, iTunes, and even you Amazon Associates account. That could easily add up to dollars given the right traffic numbers. What are you experiences with blog editors? Do you use one? Do you have a super time-saving tip for the rest of us? I’d love to know. For more information, you can check out Darren’s post on Blog Tools.
