Resting on a Rest Day!

I am at the Public Library in Missoula, Montana (pop. 50,000), the biggest city since we left Los Angeles. I love it here. It makes me wanna buy a house here where i can retreat to twice a year. There’s a strong cycling community here. And their “Whole Foods” type store is called “The Good Food Store” and they have a classroom inside the store where every week they teach customers how to make different creative healthy foods....I also got a massage today at the Montana School of Massage...it felt great...and it feels great to honor my body and take care of it for all the work that it is doing! Tomorrow we ride to Hamilton another relatively big town (about 6000 people). And then after that we go up up up into the Rocky Mountains (8000 ft. elevation).

I am loving every bit of this journey, and i am grateful that i can be on it.

Finally, Im working on a new poem which i think has the potential to be my next “big” poem, and i am very excited about this, since there hasnt really been a “big” poem for at least 6 months now.

Went out on a date last night to a Thai Food Restaurant called Sa Wa Dee (which means “Hello” in Thai and it is a greeting that is usually initiated from a young person to an elder). Food was AMAZING! I was really happy that this city had a Thai Restaurant since it’s one of Cesar’s favorite foods, and we didnt expect to find any on our trip...so it was a great surprise and it was awesome to watch his face while he was eating his Panaang, it’s almost better than the big smile on his face when he’s dancing timba.

Bueno, not much else; Just resting, working and sightseeing. Connecting, Appreciating and Loving.
Life is good!

p.s. please check out my “Sandwich Blog” if you havent already and help us get creative!!!

  1. Hi Gabby!
I love your posts. I wanted to tell you that Missoula is one of my favorite places in the world and that I’ve soaked in the Lola hot springs there - thanks for bringing back to be some great memories on this cloudy day in BsAs. I think that you are open and alive to this journey, and that you are grateful for every part of it- from the snakes to learning how to take off your front tire to seeing the majesty of the Rockies - is one of the best blessings that we can find in our lives. You reminded me that being grateful feels really good. thanks. I look forward to reading your next “big” poem! please share it with us when you’re ready.
    un beso de Argentina,
    em
